SOLD Anschutz 2007/2013 benchrest rifle with Lilja drop-in barrel
This Anschutz 2007/2013 rifle in .22RF has been my benchrest heavy rifle of choice for many years, but lately I’ve been using my Stiller 2500X light rifle in both LR and HR weight classes meaning there is one less gun to take to competitions. Nevertheless, this Anschutz is still a great rifle, especially fitted with its Lilja drop-in stainless barrel.
The Lilja drop-in stainless barrel is a true match-grade barrel with a 16” twist. Lilja have one grade for all of their barrels, the best. All of these barrels are made from 1″ diameter 416 alloy rifle-barrel-quality stainless steel lathe-turned to 0.9” diameter. Each barrel blank is drilled, reamed and rifled in house followed by a stress relieving heat treatment operation. They are then hand-lapped for a superior internal finish and diameter uniformity. The barrels intended for Anschutz target rifles receive a shorter and tighter diameter match chamber than barrels for sporter rifles.
The Anschutz 5018 series trigger is set at 2.0 ounces and is a superb benchrest quality trigger.
The original Anschutz BR stock has a 3” wide aluminium channel fitted to add stiffness and stability.
The standard 11mm dovetail for mounting sights or scopes is fitted with Weaver/Picatinny adapters ready to take scope rings of your choice.
Rifle weight as shown with scope and tuner is up to the 15lb WRABF limit fitted with the flat carbon-fibre butt plate.
Not currently fitted but included in the sale is the original Anschutz adjustable butt-plate, which is easily fitted in place of the flat aluminium plate.
The Falcon X50 10-50×60 scope shown is not included in this sale, but is available on discussion.
The Harrell Precision barrel tuner with accessory weights as shown is not included in this sale, but is available on discussion.
